‘BUFFLE’: A music theatre show on 25 January, 6.30pm at Co-Bank Towers
The three singers, musicians, storytellers, play with words and poetry and follow their way, between songs and play, from the piano to the electric guitar, from monologue to polyphony.
The show is very rock and very theatrical. This is also a rare opportunity to listen to the real “chanson française”: poignant lyrics with captivating music.
The singer/author Xavier Machault and the pianist/composer Roberto Negro met in 2007, and quickly use the stage as a laboratory of experimentation. They offer a stage show that cleverly blends French song, burlesque theatre and poetry. Between each French songs (with English subtitles), theatre transitions will be presented in English.
In 2012, the actor and author Pierre Dodet joined the band and they invented their own kind of music they call « post-cabaret ». The show will be played over one hundred stages in different theatres in France, Belguim, Germany, Romania and Switzerland.
