D. Babu Paul IAS will inaugurate ‘Yet Another Pilgrimage’ an exhibition of Paintings, Sculptures and Installations by Sasikumar Janardhanan at  Alliance  Française  de  Trivandrum, Forest Office Lane, Vazhuthacaud on Friday, 16 August at 5.00 pm, in the presence of Mayor Adv. K. Chandrika and T. Balakrishnan IAS

 

Sasikumar Shangrila, an alumnus of College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, is a known figure in the artistic scene of Kerala. He is not only a painter and sculptor, he also explores other mediums such as films, murals and photography. Lately, he is also focusing on ‘installations’ “fusing the facets of traditional architecture and modern art”.

Recipient of several State and National level awards, his works are part of several individual and institutional collections.
