Over 2000 Indian students are currently pursuing their academic aspirations in France, making it an increasingly popular destination for higher studies. Around 250 active exchange programmes, across disciplines, between reputed institutions in both countries, also bear testimony to this fact.

CampusFrance, an agency that operates under the aegis of the French ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Education, Advanced Instruction and Research promotes French higher education. In India, CampusFrance works under the guidance of the University Cooperation service of the Embassy of France and in close cooperation with the network of the Alliance Française.
