Alliance Française de Trivandrum will usher in the festive season with a number of events on
1 December.
A cooking workshop is being organized at 10am – 12 noon, introducing a variety of French Christmas cookies and aperitifs.The session is lead by Françoise Calvel. Seats are limited. Entry is by registration. Registration is open till 30 November.
Fête des étudiants, a students party will be organized at 3.00pm, with quiz, games and French goûter with Bûche de Noël (Yule log), a traditional dessert served during the Christmas season in France. Entry Free.
Final event of the day will be the screening of the French film Memory Lane directed by Mikhaël Hers at 5.30pm. Entry Free.
One summer, seven friends of 25 years are found to spend a few days in the city where they grew up. Everyone has their reasons for being there: some still live there, others come back for family reasons or to seek traces of teenage , others hope to find love … While days spin in the deep blue sky of August, each carries with it intuition that these shared moments are perhaps the last.
