Alliance Française de Trivandrum is pleased to organize a drama workshop, every Saturday,10 am- 1 pm starting from 12October to 23 November, with a public performance at Alliance Française de Trivandrum on 23 November. Lead by two French theatre personnels – Juliette Cahin, who studied drama theory at university, Coraline Pradeau, who graduated from a drama conservatory and is a professional actress in a theatre company in Paris. They are happy to share their drama background with the participants.
The workshop is open to all, be it beginner or seasoned theatre enthusiast. Speaking French is not an obligation since there will be practice of physical acting, and experiment the mute burlesque register, improvising gags and absurd situations.
The drama class also helps to build self confidence, to perform in front of an audience without stage fright and to express yourself. The focus will especially be on group attention, learning how to be aware of the space and people around you.
Those drama skills will culminate in the creation of an original work on the theme of travelling.
Enjoy a drama initiation and have fun together creating an original performance.
Compulsory registrations [limited to 15 participants on first come first serve basis]. Registration is open till 10 October.
