‘French Film Festival’ from 19- 22 November at @ Childrens Park, Ernakulam
The third edition of French Film Festival in Ernakulam, introduces French cinema, with a wide range of movies from comedy to drama. There will also be a special screening of a children’s film for schools.
The inaugural film of this festival is Mia et le Migou/ Mia and the Migoo an animation film, which is a special screening for schools.La cour de Babel/ School of Babel, screened on 19 and 20 november is an interesting take on language and immigration.
At 6.00pm on 20 November, there will be a screening of the classic Le Dernier Métro/ The last metro by François Truffaut.
Lulu femme nue/ Lulu In The Nude screened on 21 November is a comedy while La Religieuse/ The Nun screened on 22 November is a drama.
The festival will end with a drama, The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas, on 22 November.
All the films are subtitled in English. Entry free.
