fff-invitation‘French Film Festival’ from 21 to 23 November  at @ Childrens Park, Ernakulam

The second edition of French Film Festival in Ernakulam, introduces French cinema, with a wide range of movies from comedy to drama. There will also be a special screening of a children’s film for schools.
The inaugural film of this festival is La Prophetie des Grenouilles/ Raining Cats and Frogs an animation film, which is a special screening for schools.
At 2.30pm on 21 November, there will be a screening of the classic La grande illusion by Jean Renoir, which is a special screening for colleges. This film is a commemoration of the centenary of First World War.
La princesse de Montpensier, a gripping drama set against the savage Catholic/Protestant wars that ripped France apart in the 16th century, will be screened at 6.00 pm on the same day.
On 22 November, another classic Jules et Jim by the master filmmaker François Truffaut will be screened. This film also comes under the category of commemoration of the centenary of First World War.
There will be a repeat screening of La grande illusion by Jean Renoir on 23 November at 2.30pm.
The festival will end with a comedy, Camille redouble/ Camille rewinds, on 23 November.
All the films are subtitled in English. Entry free.
