Alliance Française de Trivandrum, in association with Kerala Mahila Samakhya Society, is delighted to present an Art Exhibition titled, ‘Wings…If I have’ on 16th February 2021 at 5:30 pm in the Alliance Française de Trivandrum premises. The exhibition would be inaugurated by Mrs Lise Talbot Barré, Consul General of France in Pondicherry and Chennai.
“Wings… If I have” is an art exhibition that showcases art created done by girls in the 12-18 year-old group, from difficult circumstances. The objective of the exhibition is to help these children express themselves through art and gain confidence to face a brave new future.
The exhibition will be followed by a panel discussion on the topic: “Enabling children through art”. The panel discussion will focus on how children from difficult circumstances can use art as therapy to bring colour back to their lives. The discussion will also center around questions of eliminating stigma by reintegrating them into society.
The panelists are:

- Smt. Sobha Koshy, Former Postmaster General, Former Chairperson Kerala State
Commission for protection of child rights.
- Dr. T. K. Anandi, Gender Advisor for Government of Kerala
Moderated by: Anupama Raju, writer, author of Nine, Charles Wallace Fellow, University of Kent and communications professional.
