RESONANCE – An evening of Poetry from Switzerland and India

Alliance Française de Trivandrum and Goethe Zentrum in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in India andUniversal Poetry invite you to “Resonance”, an evening of Poetry from Switzerland and India. The evening is a celebration of the rich poetical heritage of Switzerland and India. The event will showcase the four linguistic regions of Switzerland along with the diversity and vibrancy of Indian poetry scene. The poems will be recited in German, French, Italian, Romantsch, English, Malayalam and Hindi.

Universal Poetry is an international platform which endeavors to encourage and foster the sharing of culture and literature between India and other countries. The vision of this non-profitable initiative of sharing intellectual thoughts through the medium of poetry is to inspire and promote global perspectives on Peace and Friendship.

The soiree will feature the following poets: Anupama Raju,T.P.Rajeevan, Rati Saxena, Sameer Kakkar and the musician Joseph Fernandez.

The soiree is to be held at 6.00pm, on 5 December at Alliance Française de Trivandrum in presence of Mr. Martin Strub, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, Swiss Embassy, Universal Poetry and Mr. Paul Zacharia, the guest of honor.
