Alliance Française de Trivandrum is pleased to present ‘Stone Age’: An exhibition of sculpture by V. Satheesan from 25 October – 8 November 2013 at Art Gallery, Alliance Française de Trivandrum.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Mr. G Venugopal, the famous play back singer at 5.30pm, 25 October @ Art gallery, Alliance Française de Trivandrum.

V Satheesan, a drawing teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya Pattom, Trivandrum; obtained his Masters’ in Sculpture from Delhi College of Arts. A born artist, he works in any medium that is suited to carve out a sculpture.

V. Satheesan perceives a distinct language of silence that eloquently converse with the connoisseurs. As his medium is mostly rock, his work involves meticulous planning and consumes much amount of time in carving out his dream image from its core. The images create myriad expressions of mind, and without the advantages of colour, rhythm or words , communicate effectively with the human heart.
