For Baiju Gopinath, a self-made artist, life is a journey, with experiences being different points on the way. The inputs of experiences are transformed into visual images. Majority of his works are nature- inspired, with dreams and fantasy playing an important role. His works lean towards impressionism, especially the nature-inspired works, with bold strokes. He is also inspired by surrealism.
